The Telecommunications Industry Group (TIG) invites you to nominate candidates for the Fifth Annual DiversityNXT awards. The awards will be presented at the CTIA Wireless trade show at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida, on March 21, 2011.

DiversityNXT awards highlight the accomplishments of a corporation and a diverse supplier who have made great strides into the "next generation" of the telecommunications industry. "Next Generation" means the innovative project or program provides support to the converged communications and entertainment industries, or related products or services: i.e., IMS, Broadband Service Deployment Strategies, 3G/4G, WiMAX, etc.

If you have a corporate candidate who has been instrumental in using diverse suppliers to make an impact in the "next generation" of the telecommunications industry, or if you know of a minority-, woman-, or disabled veteran-owned business enterprise (MWDVBE) who has provided value or a solution to a corporation in the "next generation" of telecommunications, or if you want to nominate your own company, please send the name and contact information, including e-mail address and phone number, to the DiversityNXT Awards Committee in care of holing@cisco.com or kermit.graham@sanmina-sci.com by Friday, January 28, 2010. • DiversityNXT Gen Corporation Award — A Corporation who has been innovative in the way they have used a diverse supplier in their supply chain to provide a solution to a business problem or opportunity in the "next generation" of the telecommunications industry.

• DiversityNXT Solution Supplier Award — A Diverse Supplier who has created an innovative solution to solve a customer problem in the "next generation" arena. This solution showed how diverse suppliers can provide value and/or cost reduction in the overall supply chain.
